2twin350s Posted August 6, 2005 Report Posted August 6, 2005 anyone use these pro design mega flow impellars? do they help with slow speed riding in woods with little air flow? after torquing around hill climbing at slow speeds mine gets a little hot. any other time it never gets hot. do they really make a difference in temps at slow speeds? racer Posted August 6, 2005 Report Posted August 6, 2005 i have one. i dont have a temp guage to check water temps but it, in conjunction with a head, never ever gets hot. i mostly bought the thing because of the horror stories of having the stock plastic impeller fail. Quote

If you dont have one, get a nossmachine coolhead, they help alot. Quote

MILO Posted August 10, 2005 Report Posted August 10, 2005 i mostly bought the thing because of the horror stories of having the stock plastic impeller fail. 401612[/snapback] exactly the reason to have one. mine failed, more like disintegrated, trashed the seal and leaked antifreeze into the tranny. screwed up my clutch, which i ended up replacing too. but it was a good excuse to upgrade Quote
