wayfst Posted August 5, 2005 Report Posted August 5, 2005 I had one, you can't do it yourself it has to be sent out. you can get a good ported bike to run as well as a stroker, the stroked motor is just easier to ride ( less shifting ). I ride mostly sand and dirt road, my bike is a 450 stroker, but I've had 350's run close up the hill. reliabilty goes to the builder and porter. Quote
crbanshee Posted August 5, 2005 Author Report Posted August 5, 2005 any idea on the speed you get out of that motor?? educated guess even.. Quote
wayfst Posted August 6, 2005 Report Posted August 6, 2005 my motor? fast really fast. high 40's pulling choke cherry in Idaho, which is alot steeper than anything else I've ridden on the west caost, thats 4 gear and 13/40. Quote
cbn70 Posted August 7, 2005 Report Posted August 7, 2005 hey wayfst, when do the St Anthony dunes close? was thinking about making a trip in mid october? I heard that they close them down in the fall? Quote
420banshee Posted August 15, 2005 Report Posted August 15, 2005 my banshee has a 420 stroker and idk if there all like mine but i dont really have that much low end my power kicks in at mid and high rpm it pulls wicked hard tho when u get the rpms up Quote
PassionRE Posted August 16, 2005 Report Posted August 16, 2005 Save yourself some cash and forget the big bore part of the stroker equation. You can build a ton of power everywhere on just stock cylinders and 4mm stroker crank. More speed than you'll ever need and a ton of bottom end power if ported for that purpouse and reliable as well......Jim Quote
