gd97 Posted July 31, 2005 Report Posted July 31, 2005 Hey guys just got my clutch in from Jeff at F.A.S.T. and it is the weekend so I don't want to call and bother him. How long do you soak the fibers before install and what tranny oil are you guys using? Quote

locogato11283 Posted July 31, 2005 Report Posted July 31, 2005 not that i wanna stray you away from what jeff recommends but im impatient and soaked mine for about 5 mins. i run bel ray exl and ive had this clutch for over 6 months and its never slipped once. not even on a dyno. i would also recommend getting new clutch basket, inner and outer hubs and pressure plate if yuors are old. the difference is unreal...jeff sells all that shit real reasonable also. gd97 Posted August 1, 2005 Author Report Posted August 1, 2005 I just looked at what they gave me at the shop for my tranny and it is yamalube 10w 30 four stroke oil. Is this ok or do I need to step up to one of the others that is 75w, 80w, or 90w? Quote
