Your setup sounds very similar to my old setup and I was running 280 mains, 27.5 pilot, needle in the 4th clip from the blunt end. Quote
MonoxideChild420 Posted July 25, 2005 Report Posted July 25, 2005 could someone tell me what my main jets should be at and my pilot..also which clip should my needle be at... i have toomy t5's white bro's boost bottle and a toomy 2 into one pro flow k&n kit... i live in jacksonville fl. so that should tell you about sea level cause im a dunce when it comes to simple things like that...? please help Quote

wesw Posted July 26, 2005 Report Posted July 26, 2005 my old setup was t5, v force reeds, no lid box at 900 ft stock pilots 1.25 turns out, 4th clip of the toomey needle, 340 mains if your at sea level you should be 350 or more i would guess. also the guy with 220 your so lean it horrible stock mains were 200 and you have mods so you need to go up to 300 easy i would say Quote
r2n2d Posted August 4, 2005 Report Posted August 4, 2005 220 sounds about right. I have v-force 3's, FMF SST pipes. k&n airfilter, prodesign head and boost bottle. I called two local yamaha dealers that both told me for those mods the pilot at 25 is fine. I coule switch the main to 210, 220 max. I ride sea level. 0' to 100'. So I hope this helps. I also asked if I should put the pilots at 27.5 and my main at 290. they laughted and told me I could it I don't want my bike to last. It is too flat for people who ride at sea level. Quote

Im runing: fmf sst's and a k&n filter with the airbox lid off @ 1000 ft. above sealevel. Ive got in a 320 main and 30 pilot. My Banshee came from the factory with 220 mains Quote
