jburner Posted July 18, 2005 Report Posted July 18, 2005 Right before the powerband hit it is crackling and bogging. But once it hits it is like it clears out. I have new gas and a recharged K&N so it's not either of those unless 91 octance and 20cc domes could be the problem. The VP place was closed so I went with straight pump gas. What do you guys think. MILO Posted July 18, 2005 Report Posted July 18, 2005 i don't know about the 91 gas with the domes, but the range that it's breaking up at sounds like you may need to lower your needles some. Quote
Dunsmoor86 Posted July 18, 2005 Report Posted July 18, 2005 I just had the same problem and i dropped from a 330 to a 320 main and dropped my needle one clip from the middle worked out great. Quote
wesw Posted July 18, 2005 Report Posted July 18, 2005 what carbs your running whats your jetting meaning what clip, what main whats your setup as in pipes, open filter box or what. info needed Quote
fixitrod Posted July 19, 2005 Report Posted July 19, 2005 That transisiton uses the needle a lot. I'd lower that needle for sure. With it being so hot a lot of peoples jetting issues have been being to rich. Come winter it'll be, " my banshee just doesn't pull like it should",... lol. Jetting is affected greatly by weather changes. Quote
