9603banshee Posted July 7, 2005 Report Posted July 7, 2005 (edited) I got some 35mm Keihin Air Stryker's converted to alky by Ohton Racing... the motor I'm running which is a 350 cub, elevation is about 1600, ported stock reed cages, w/ boyeson power reeds, 6-7 on timing, cpi inframes, coolhead w/ 17cc domes, etc......what's the best starting point on these baby's, mains and pilots, I'm clueless when it comes to Keihin's but ran across a great deal on these....any help is appreciated...thanks Edited July 7, 2005 by 9603banshee Quote
locogato11283 Posted July 7, 2005 Report Posted July 7, 2005 casey, i pmed you back but here it is again.. with my 4mm, rockets, v force and 21 cc domes i am at 162 main and 45 pilot. it was jetted in on a dyno. i really think thats gonna be close for yours. my bros 33mm pwk is exact same as mine. hes got a rick cairo 4mm, rockets, v force... wesw Posted July 7, 2005 Report Posted July 7, 2005 alcohol throws new variables in you want it rich and wet. so loco recommends are really not going to help. ask some guys on planetsand for some info or drive to wichita got to Nmotion and put it on a dyno and adjust the jets with his sniffer kevin helt 3162628900 most people have to double the mains is what im told, and use a power jet for the mid. good luck also you probably should call sudco adn see what needle they recommend for alcohol they know their stuff Quote
banshee x Posted July 8, 2005 Report Posted July 8, 2005 not to get off the subject of this post but loco your runnin 162 mains and 45 pilots i just put together a 4mil drag ported cub,v-force 3,35 air strykers ,21 cc custom domes,shearers and i'm working on the jetting i'm up to a 55 pilot and 155 mains did a plug chop and it still looks too rich whats your elevation im at 3,000 feet but normally dune at 1000 ft am i doin something wrong????
