Rare Scottish Tree Badger Posted July 7, 2005 Report Posted July 7, 2005 So with a 795 piston the domes need no reshaping? 389683 Nope. Rare. Quote
biggun6ss Posted July 7, 2005 Author Report Posted July 7, 2005 Thanks guys, I am all cleared up now, until I find something else I can't figure out. Quote
dajogejr Posted July 7, 2005 Report Posted July 7, 2005 I believe the biggest reason people used blaster pistons is because it had the correct wrist pin height for long rod (not stroker) motors, but now weisco has the 795 pistons which have the correct pin height and the 795 piston also has the correct dome shape for the banshee. With the blaster pistons you would have to reshape the domes on your head for proper squish. later 389670 I"m looking at a stroker motor soon, and that is very good info. Thanks as well.... Quote
