banshee_razor Posted June 29, 2005 Report Posted June 29, 2005 Right now i have a 2004 raptor 660 and I want to do mods to the quad beacuse i hate to keep things stock. i'm short on cash and am thinking of trading it for a banshee. would it be better to keep the raptor and do some cheap mods or trade it for a bansee and do more mods like exhaust, jetting, air filter, swing arm, ect. Depending on what i do wha are some recomended mods?i do lots of wide open riding, sand dunes, some trails and wheele's pleas recomend some good mods and tell me wich one is best for my style of riding. DuneRoller Posted July 4, 2005 Report Posted July 4, 2005 Well, I guess I am one of the only people out here that actually like the Raptor. I think they are a pretty nice bike. I have never owned one, but have ridden a couple of them so maybe there is more to it than what I have seen. With some minor mods to them you can get rid of the "top heaviness" everyone complains about, slide a pipe on it and have decent power (not to run with a Banshee or anything) and they get great fuel economy. If you have the Raptor already, why not just do some mods to it and be riding again in a week?? I guess what I am saying is if you didn't have a bike and wanted a Banshee then go for it, but the grass isn't always greener on the other side. Quote
