BANJO Posted June 29, 2005 Report Posted June 29, 2005 well i took my top end off.. a peice of the right piston is missing... my kick start wont turn.. i was kicking it befor i knew what was wrong and then it stifftened right up.. is the crank able to move if you pull the arms?? where could the peice be.. i couldnt see anything from the topend hole.. i got a hole new top end but i cant get my kicker free.. do i have to rip apart my crank case?? or can i just pop a side off and look?? i really need help.. thanks peace dev.. . Posted June 30, 2005 Report Posted June 30, 2005 I recommend pulling the bottom end apart and getting any metal that could be in there out. But if you dont want to do that and metal debris will tear crank bearings apart being noted: Take your stator cover off and with the engine in neutral try to work the crank free. find the piece of metal thats stopping the crank from turning, and then wash the crank case out with kerosene 3 or 4 times.
