Dead Op Posted June 24, 2005 Report Posted June 24, 2005 Ok I was looking at my friends banshee with pipes, air filter, and thats about it, he told me to look at the plugs i took em out and their was all carbon build up on them! What is wrong i am stumped, i never had a problem like this before, so I'm new to this one Quote
sredish Posted June 24, 2005 Report Posted June 24, 2005 Shouldn't be carbon. Two-stroke plugs will get a chocolate color from the oil in the premix burning. Too much of this premix fuel will cause it to blacken more and possibly foul out. What you were probably seeing is a semi-rich plug that looked kind of black with oil on it. Quote
Dead Op Posted June 24, 2005 Author Report Posted June 24, 2005 There was literal build up on the plug i could scrape it off it was black. Quote
Master of Faster Posted June 24, 2005 Report Posted June 24, 2005 How old are the plugs, maybe he needs to start with a new set and check his jetting. Quote
Dead Op Posted June 24, 2005 Author Report Posted June 24, 2005 the plugs he said are about 2 months old. The bike runs goos but the plugs look terrible Quote
