What way do you suggest on launching a banshee with a stock swingarm on dirt track that is wet before dragging. traction is not a problem.. I kept the revs up and dump the clutch and still both times wheeled..and I weigh 240lbs..I use this bike for trail/mx just a little bit of everyting. Should I invest in a +4 swing..At 240ft any little mistake your gone. Should I take off in 2nd? any suggest appreciated.

if you can practice, start out in sec with stock gearing it will be easy to do. also skipping 1st gear is one less to shift, adn no chance of grabbing neutral.

it will take some practice. hope you hav esome good paddles for it.

if you wheelie like a bitch then a +4 swinger is a good investment, but im finding out they are not the best for hooking up on regular dirt. losing traction

but inthe dunes it will be fun

For dirt tracks,I use 4-snows.Traction is definitely not a problem.I got a few more mods than you,but the JTM extension for the swingarm works good except at tracks that hook really hard.mine is a +5.They also come in +3.The website is jaeckeltool.com.I'd get the +5.They are made out of aluminum, and can be adjusted for trying different sprocket combinations.Cheaper than a new swingarm too.I just got a blaster I'm going to fix up,and I'm going to get one for it too.If that don't work, how about a wheelie bar?

Learn to work the clutch, when it starts coming up, ease it in, when it starts to come down, ease it out a bit, takes some practice, but it will help you launch like a rocket once you get it down. I can do it and keep the tires about an inch off the ground then grab another gear and get to rollin :bolt:

Gear for the track conditions and yes leave in 2nd gear. Body positon is always important to and a wheelie bar with a rear strut would be highly recomended. A +4 or a +6 swingarm would be wise also. There are so many variations to this maddness of racing that we could go in and on.

Hope this helped ya out.
