Well i just picked up a banshee (stock) on wed, a 1990. Well it ran just fine, now, it takes a lot of kicks to start it, and i have to use the choke. It also runs way better with the choke on. It also wont sit and idle, i have to keep givin it gas. Im thinking its a carb/gas issue, any suggestions?

Sounds like you need to go through the carbs and at least clean them. You probably need to do some tuning as well though.

carbs and topend were just rebuily by previous owner.. i bumped the idle up via the throttle cable thing and its running better and starting first kick.

Weird

with that said, who wants to go riding in northern MN?

Good deal! I know sometimes my idle screws would "vibrate" themselves out of adjustment on my carbs...could have been the same for you

I lost an idle screw.....so when I got a new one....I installed it....then Siliconed it in there. They arent backing out any more. that will help with um vibrating out as well.
