badassbanshee479 Posted June 11, 2005 Report Posted June 11, 2005 (edited) I called up jeff over at fast today to get my new clutch kit from him and I ended up buying a set of carbs also, what I need to know is where should I start with on my jetting ? my mods are in my sig, also bought the clap on K & N s to go with the carbs, also can I mod my stock intakes or do I have to get new ones? if I need new ones where sould I go to buy them ? jetting in the stock carbs was, 350 mians 30 pilots, air screw 1.5 out, and dyno jet needles on the 2nd groove down from the fat end. One last thing, jeff is a great guy to talk to and very helpful I plan on doing more business with him for sure!!! Edited June 11, 2005 by badassbanshee479 Quote
locogato11283 Posted June 11, 2005 Report Posted June 11, 2005 youll need different intakes. i use the boss intake you can get from passion racing. i think its about 150 bucks. you can get other intakes that dont look a bling for around 100 i think. your jetting should prolly use a 158-165 main jet and 42-48 pilot. my regular 35mm pwk are jetted at 162 main and 45 pilot for 1000 ft above sea level. locogato11283 Posted June 11, 2005 Report Posted June 11, 2005 air strykers are a newer style of the pwk carbs. basically the same thing with some different venting and shit i think. Quote
badassbanshee479 Posted June 19, 2005 Author Report Posted June 19, 2005 Got the carbs on and all jetted in and now my banshee flat out hauls ass !!! I can't believe that just changing carbs would make such a big differance. Quote
