rzbanshee Posted June 7, 2005 Report Posted June 7, 2005 In the final process of putting my rz shee together and just wondering how people with paul turner pipes went about routing their coolant lines. I have to go to the parts store and was wondering what the best way to do it and not have your lines touching the pipes. THanks rzbanshee Quote
bigboybanshee Posted June 7, 2005 Report Posted June 7, 2005 To be honest with you I left my coolant lines alone...they were touching the pipes and I put a solid 20 hours on them and had no leaks. The way I looked at it is the coolant hose is designed to withstand extremely hot fluids, the pipes touching it shouldn't affect the hoses at all. From my experience, I never had any problems. But, if you want to re-route them for your peace of mind, there is a flex hose kit you can buy that lets you route them pretty much however you want. Quote
rebelbanshee2 Posted June 7, 2005 Report Posted June 7, 2005 coolant is like 220 max...pipes get insainly hotter than that. I know toomey reccomends flipping the hose around, maybe that works with PTRs too..call duncan racing and see what they say Quote
