superbanshee03
question, I just bought some Shearers pipes and I wanted to know about what jetting to start at. I just got them yesterday and have to order some jets. I curently run 165 mains and 50 piolts with 33pwk keihins number 5 slides and not sure on the needle. I had t6 pipes, but I didnt have it diled in perfect. I just need a good starting point jets, piolets airscrew, needle, clip, slides, then I can take it from there. Does it matter what slides I run? white trash
Thats probly real close. My set up is close to yours. (i have shearers as well) Im running 33's @ 900' about 70 degrees 168 main, cgl needle on the 4th clip down, 52 pilots, 1-3/4 turns out on the air screws. The 52 might be rich, but i put a 50 in mine and it didnt like it so i went back up

white trash
I am running 5's as well. I do know that the cutaway angle of the slide factors in, just couldnt tell ya where.
