are maxxis razr 1 good tires for sand and to mess around

 

are they all around good tires

 

and are the 4 ply ones good or should i get the 6 ply ones

 

i just mess around so are the frount tires realy important because i still have the stock front tires and they are in ok condition

I'm not a big fan of razr1's or holeshots. With a stock swingarm, they just plain suck and just want to spin all day long. They'll grip until they lose their edge, and then just spin.

 

It's hard to say what to run for a sand/trail tire. Might want to try some mudsharks. They'd probably do pretty good for the sand, might be a little heavy though.

 

For fronts, if your in sand and theres tread left, you'll be alright for trails n stuff if its sandy.

holeshots and razrs are absolutely worthless in sand. i swear them things just dig a hole underneath you. might give the kenda klaws or knarlys a try. if sand is all you are gonna be runnin then some kind of mud type tire is prolly what u wanna go with...
