DigglerD Posted May 3, 2005 Report Posted May 3, 2005 2nd question today. I want to get some shocks for Dune riding. I called both Elka and Works Performance. Elka recomended the Dune Series (Clicky) non-adjustable w/o rezzies for rec dune riding. Cost = $450 Works Performance recomended the "G" Series (Clicky) triple rate semi-adjustables w/o rezzies. Cost = $469 I need to pull the trigger for Memorial Day. PLEASE PLEASE HELP! Quote
ledofthezep Posted May 3, 2005 Report Posted May 3, 2005 I'd go with the elka's myself...heard great things about those shocks & elka has quite the rep built up for themselves. Not dissing the works at all, they're good shocks too... I say for rec dune riding, save a few bones & go with the elka dune edition. Quote
ssanddemon Posted May 4, 2005 Report Posted May 4, 2005 I love my Elka Dunes- they are a real basic shock that works and looks fantastic. My bike rides plusher with the Elkas than every other bike I have ridden. Quote
