coil failure?

is it possible for one of the coils to start going bad?...the right bank runs nice..good spark...left bank has little to no spark....when i rev it up it hits alright, but at idle, you can hear the miss..is it possible for the left coil to start to go bad, or would they both go bad at the same time?.....thank you for the help...just didint want to spend 60 bucks on one unless i had an idea....is ricky stator a good one to put in? and any ideas on who would make a good one if the rs coil isnt good? thanks alot for the help

Try switching the plug wires and see if the problems switch sides. Believe it or not, both sides fire at the same time. It's really just one coil with two wires hanging out. The ignition actually fires twice in a revolution, once at @TDC and the other at @BDC, not regarding advance.

spark is coming out of the left bank, i found that out by, dumb a** me, grabbing the wire and seeing if it was loose while it was running...ouch! just miss fires at idle and cleans up when in higher rpm...stator going bad?....also, can i just unplug the nasty TORS?....dang thing, when i turn the bars to the right, it engages..thanks for the help
