kotin6 Posted April 17, 2005 Report Posted April 17, 2005 as mentioned in the mod forum I was having problems with shee. Well aside from the noise it seemed to be running fine. I was driving to base today and all hell broke lose. I was only going about 50 and the shee sudenly sputered and lost alot of power. I had to pull over and it shut down. It will only run with the throttle pushed and there is no compression at all. Im hopping its rings or pistons but I have no Idea. There is no where here to take it either. Guess I'll jsut rip it apart buy a clymer and see what i can find. The worse thing is that Im leaving for Afganistan VERY soon so it will have to sit untill I get back. Maybe Ill buy a nice engine when I get back. Quote

stu Posted April 17, 2005 Report Posted April 17, 2005 just see it this way Kotin. if your top ends gone its time to get those jugs ported when you have them honed (and re-bored) thats why i sent my jugs off initially. send them out before you leave for Afghanistan and they'll be ready to rip on your return!! take care in Afghan man stu Quote
