J-Madd Posted April 12, 2005 Report Posted April 12, 2005 I don't know from experience, but it sounds like the clutch push rod has welded itself to lever on the case. I've seen it mentioned many times, you may do a search for faster info. Quote
FIRST BANSHEE Posted April 13, 2005 Report Posted April 13, 2005 did you tighten or adjust the screw and locknut on your clutch hub??? Quote
Bansheeman1121 Posted April 13, 2005 Author Report Posted April 13, 2005 Where is this screw locaed at and how do i accsess it?? Quote
fixitrod Posted April 13, 2005 Report Posted April 13, 2005 It's in the center of the pressure plate. Quote
Jdawg82 Posted April 14, 2005 Report Posted April 14, 2005 If you didnt fold down the tabs on the washer behind the clutch hub nut, it probaly backed out which would cause you to have no clutch. It is located behind the crankcase cover (the side with the kicker on it). Quote
boonman Posted April 16, 2005 Report Posted April 16, 2005 Did this bike's clutch work on the initial fireup? Like when you put it in first gear, did the clutch work then? And then suddenly give out? Or did it not work from the get go? If it didn't work from the get go, you may have forgotten the ball bearing. Quote
