Methanol / Nitro

I am thinking about switching my banshee over to aolchol cause thats what I use in the spint car and with my sponsor ship the fuel is way cheaper than gas so I think I'm going to switch.

One this is done do you think it would hurt if I used some of my RC cars nitro aolchol on it. I think the mixture is about 18% which is fairly moderate. I am not gong to run it straight, but with my normal mixure so its not going to be that brutal, but do you think I would notice the increase in power?

I ran with a bottle of everclear in my tank once, that was pretty bitchin. I dunno what nitro stuff would do though. lol

Be ready to rejet, even if you're already jetted for methanol. Nitromethane has oxygen in it already, so you need a lot more fuel to keep the mixture right. Methanol burns at roughly 5.0-6.0:1 with air. In comparison, nitromethane burns at 1.7:1. You will DEFFINITELY feel the extra power, nitromethane makes over twice the power as methanol! I would try mixing small amounts of nitromethane with the methanol first, maybe 1/4 to 1/2 gallon per 5 gallons of methaol. Keep a close eye on the fuel mixture though.
