Phatboyz Posted April 4, 2005 Report Posted April 4, 2005 I just removed my carbs to clean them and noticed that there was 240 mains in them, Do yall think this is too small for 900FT elevation and 28MM carbs? I have minor port work and slightly bigger carbs ,FMF Pipes. Quote
bigboybanshee Posted April 4, 2005 Report Posted April 4, 2005 It all depends on what your plugs look like and how the bike runs... Quote
rocketboy Posted April 4, 2005 Report Posted April 4, 2005 i would be inclined to think 280 would be alot closer to ideal jetting for you.IMO Quote

I am just now installing the new NOSS head with 20cc domes so I will let you know in a few hours what the plugs look like. Quote
Phatboyz Posted April 4, 2005 Author Report Posted April 4, 2005 What kind of carbs?? 349483[/snapback] They came off a suzuki RD400. They look similar to the stock carbs, but just bigger. Quote
Ducman Posted April 4, 2005 Report Posted April 4, 2005 Your going to want about the same size main as with stock carbs. Quote
Phatboyz Posted April 4, 2005 Author Report Posted April 4, 2005 I pulled the 240 out of my stock carbs and it wasn't rich when I rode it last year. The RD400 came with 150's in them and I switched them to the 240's that was in my stock carbs. I didn't check the piolt jet though. Quote
