Now if it was a standard rod +4mm crank you could just use big bore pistons but with the +5mm longrod +4mm crank, then what pistons would work with the 5mm ofset wristpin?

I know standard cylinder sleeve blaster pistons only go up to 67.5mm and the first bore on a big bore sleeve is 68mm. 240 big bore blaster pistons start at 72mm. So what pistons do you use? Isn't there also rods that are longer than +5mm? Then what pistons would you use?

I probably wont mess with my cylinders for a long time and if I do I might just buy a used set of cylinders and try a different port job on the standard sleeve. But just wondered for shits and giggles if I had a set of big bore sleeves installed and updated the porting what pistons would I use? I like to stick with parts that are redily available off the shelf.

I'm wondering about the long rod +4mm stroke crank

bigbore starts at 68mm, blaster pistons only go up to 67.5mm

standad bigbore piston sizes are 68mm 68.25mm and 68.5mm

Bigbore blaster pistons starts at 72mm

why not try WSM pistons they have a big bore stroker piston you have to cut your domes also

Thanks extreme. I figured some company would probably make them, I just haven't ever heard about them on here or listed for sale on any site. You hear all about monster bigbore strokers in adds and such, but you dont get all the nuts and bolts info on what all parts are involved if you wanted to DIY.

I know about needing to cut the domes. I have stroker domes now, I'll have to ask Noss if there would be enough room for a O-ring groove if the domes if are cut wider. It seems like there is not a lot of meat on either side of the o-ring groove now. Might have to have an o-ring on the outside edge of the dome and not in a groove. I know big bore domes are common but I think they aren't typically cut to allow the piston to go into the head like stroker domes.
