Question about lower a arm ball joints?

I was wondering if there was any way to replace the ball joints in the lower arms? One of the arms ( the right side) doesn't have a ball joint, just a bolt and washers with the nut tack welded to the bolt so it doesn't come off, thats how it was when I got it . The ball joint on the other side needs replacing baddly cause its really loose. The guy I got my shee from said the best thing to do would be to find another a arm on ebay for around $40-$50. I've found several different a arms there but I dont want to end up getting one with another loose ball joint.

 

I know these have to be pressed in, so I'm wonderin if it would be better to take my a arms somewhere and have new ball joints pressed in by someone, if its possible, cause i have no clue

As far as I know, NO they can not. Just buy a new lower on Ebay, they are always dirt cheap. I usually end up selling mine between 10 and 20 dollars.

no offense to anyone, but i hate the thought of buying used parts, especially something like this. looks like an excuse to upgrade to me. but if the cash is the deciding factor, and you get used stockers, just be sure it is someone that can be trusted or who will stand behind the deal.

I know for a fact they cannot be...I broke mine a few months ago and had to buy another lower a arm. If you have the cash, get some aftermarkets. If not, hit ebay or pm 8HONDO, he's got a set of lower a-arms for sale off of a 99
