Anyone running a Gyt-r Cdi?

To anyone who is using the gyt-r cdi, does the bike fire with the key off and kill switch on? Mine does this but will not keep running and only fires when kicked over. But with a stock cdi my quad works fine.

 

Is this normal?

 

I have been told it is normal but have never seen anyone ever talking about this problem.

I'm using a gyt-r cdi and have no problems. Did you buy the correct cdi for yor year banshee. also in the instruction booklet it says if it runs like shit return the cdi for a new one.
