how do you actually polish them, i was thinking of trying it myself

Go Here, CLICK HERE Bikepics musta deleted his pics but theres still a guide here, this is the expensive route. Otherwise do what i do, but a bench polisher, I recommend 3/4 hp or more, and get some polishing compounds and start workin, remember it's not about pressure, its about patience.

I use 220 grain then 800 grain and finally 1000 grain and then take some mothers to the shizzle. Sunday i spent 6 hours polishing my brake master cylinder (still needs more polishing) and my throttle cover. both look sick though :headbang:

so can u just sand the paint off all the stock banshee parts like the jugs, head, water pump cover, and clutch cover and polish them up, i would really like to do this, yamaha shouldnt have painted the parts black, looks like crap.

Use stripper. Its much faster and easier to see what youre doing.
