~~Banshee~~ Posted March 21, 2005 Report Posted March 21, 2005 Its a pain in the ass to put the Banshee in Neutral with the engine running? You can easily put it while the engine is off.. Quote
PUSH THE THROTTLE Posted March 21, 2005 Report Posted March 21, 2005 Do you have a modded shift star that makes it much easier to find neutral. Quote
bansheefreestyler Posted March 21, 2005 Report Posted March 21, 2005 i can never get my banshee in nuetral while running. i usually let it stall and then put it in neutral. Quote

Otis Posted March 21, 2005 Report Posted March 21, 2005 (edited) Mines not too bad. That's because it's 10 times worse on the Duc. It's natural to you.... Edited March 21, 2005 by Otis Quote

05bansh Posted March 21, 2005 Report Posted March 21, 2005 Hit up Boonman about modding your shift star, I was just recently talking to him about doing mine. Quote
spoin39 Posted March 22, 2005 Report Posted March 22, 2005 Is your clutch linkage aligned? The arrow on the left engine case with the clutch arm? It will cause this to an extent. Quote
ssanddemon Posted March 22, 2005 Report Posted March 22, 2005 Mine got harder to find neutral on when I put in the toomey clutch. Modded shift star helped, but then I put on blaster pegs and needed a shorter shifter which made it worse again. I can find it about 1 in 5 back-and-forths with the engine running. Off, of course it snicks right in. And yes, the clutch is properly adjusted. Quote
BitchenBanshee Posted March 23, 2005 Report Posted March 23, 2005 The other thing that will cause it is a notched clutch basket. If you have some notches on the fingers, then it's time to file them off or buy a new basket if it is too worn! Quote
