Ducman Posted March 21, 2005 Report Posted March 21, 2005 Just curious if you had to trim the stinger tube using duners pipe seal. I have some made by chosen performance with my rockets that look similar, a little more decorative, slightly larger dia, and cost a few more $, and required a bit of trimming on the stinger tube to make the spacing to the silencer mount work out. If I get the new style silencers (which look way better than the old ones) and stinger tubes I might get a seal from duner so I don't have to trim. Quote
Otis Posted March 21, 2005 Report Posted March 21, 2005 i had to trim the stinger tube on the left side only, to get the bolt holes to line back up. I PM'ed duner just to let him know, and he said he'd make me a new set, but trimming the tube was no big deal to me. Oh these were on my Fatty's, not rockets... here's a pic of my clamps from duner pipe clamp pic <clicky he makes another style too. they're a little longer. tried to find a pic of em but cant...it's in the image section somewhere.....
