reitler09 Posted March 19, 2005 Report Posted March 19, 2005 i just bought a chain and sprocket set for my 8 banshee im finishing redoing http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...&category=43982 thats the one i got but in blue- the stock sprocket tooth set. and it says 1989-2003 models and i have an 87. should i try to take it back but noone on ebay have a sprocket chain kit for an 87 there all 89-03 should i get a new hub off ebay for cheap or what??? why the change> Quote

frocashmoney24 Posted March 19, 2005 Report Posted March 19, 2005 (edited) the 87 and the newer hubs are different for the sprockets. the older one had 4 mounting points, to where the newer ones have 5. I have a 42 rear, 14 front, and a chain to fit a stock swinger in fairly good condition for a 87 that ill sell ya for 50 shipped if you'd like? or just the sprockets for 25 shipped?
