1BADBANSHEE Posted March 21, 2005 Report Posted March 21, 2005 powdercoating a swingarm is only like $35.00, but if you must paint it por-15 341344[/snapback] Yes, POR 15 is the best. I have been using the harnose paints for some time now and I can say from experiance that this paint is tougher than powder coat any day Quote
chris642 Posted March 22, 2005 Report Posted March 22, 2005 im "restoring" this 99 cr 80 i got for real cheap and today, since it was apart i decided to pain tthe swingarm. i gave it 3 coats of primer and 2 coats of this "non slip" black paint made by rustolium. it looks sick, sort of like black vein, instead of silver vein. it is meant to be sprayed on the floor so your boots dont slip, so i am confident it will hold up well. if i wanted to make my swingarm black on my banshee, i would probally get it powder coated, though. hopefully i will get some pictures of it sometime this week. bansheekid409 Posted March 22, 2005 Report Posted March 22, 2005 how much of the hardnose will one need for a swing arm? and how fast does that stuff dry? Quote
bansha60 Posted March 23, 2005 Report Posted March 23, 2005 I like IMRON, its a Real hard paint, already has the hardners, but if you add more it becomes real sturdy! Quote
