Duninshee Posted March 14, 2005 Report Posted March 14, 2005 I just put my bike back together and I found coolant leaking in between the jugs and the case. So I tore it all apart and the Coolant rubber plugs are leaking. The clymer says that I should use Gasgacinch sealer but I have no clue what that is. I have some Permatex Ultra Black Hi-Temp RTV Silicone Gasket Maker and I want to know if this will work. Or do I need to find this other stuff. Quote
RBD Posted March 14, 2005 Report Posted March 14, 2005 Most auto parts stores will have Gasgacinch... How ever, I don't think the rubber plugs to the sealing. I think the base gasket does most of the sealing. Quote
