sheerdr Posted March 13, 2005 Report Posted March 13, 2005 I just had my worst weekend I think I've ever had. I tore my shee apart last july to do some work to it. Finally got enough money and got everything done. Sent it to get powder coated about a month and a half ago. Just finished putting it together last thursday night. Rounded up a couple buddies to go to the dunes friday night. Get to florence around 12:00 am. We go to the bar. Meet a couple peopleand go to there house. I got tired and felll a sleep in my buddies truck outside there house. I get woke up at 5 am to my buddy telleng me the truck was on fire. He drags me out and the six gas cans in the back star blowing up. according to the fire inspector someone threw three fix a flat cans in the back of the truck and lit my banshee on fire. We lost the truck and my shee. good news is the neighbor knew who it was and they are getting charged with attempted murder or attempted manslaughter and arson. I hope my buddies insurance covers my bike because I didn't have any. Quote

I think it was one of the girls at the houses ex and his son. They also cut the seats with a razor knife on the other two bikes. It was the first time we ever met these people. I guess they could have lit the spray coming out of the can to light the stuff on fire. I guess I sleep to hard cause my buddies woke me up right before the gas cans started blowing up and then the windows started blowing out. Quote

sheerdr Posted March 13, 2005 Author Report Posted March 13, 2005 Man that sucks ass, take that guy to court and sew the living shit out of him. 338440[/snapback] That's the plan. If you f with a mans banshee you cause pain and suffering for sure. And the worst part was I just finished it and hadn't rode it yet. It wasn't even two years old. This will take a long time to recover from. Quote

NugShee Posted March 13, 2005 Report Posted March 13, 2005 Well that just sucks ass. Well I grew up just 14 miles up river from florence and you have to be carefull of some of the people over there. sure people are nice and nod their head at you when you walk in a store but they dont fight like people do in the city. Those guys over there are a bunch of jarheads and tend to get a little crazy when they start drinking. I remember a few parties I went to where people shooting at each other was the expected. I have even seen a lady push a grand piano down a flight of stairs at her husband and chop up his car and boat, (and his whole house for that matter) with an ax. People in the sticks are crazy when you piss them off. Cops are few and far inbetween over there and usually dont respond when you call them so no point in calling them. Man I can tell you countless stories of guys playing russian roulette and just walking thru neighborhoods shooting everything that moved (called the cops that night and they said no officers were on duty) Anyway, hope everything turns out good in the end. Good luck Quote
KoooPSD Posted March 13, 2005 Report Posted March 13, 2005 Wow man sorry to hear that about the shee and truck, atleast you got outta there tho, i'd sue him for everything he owns, even the shirt off his back, hell you can just burn it if you dont want it Quote
brock_fuzzy_69 Posted March 13, 2005 Report Posted March 13, 2005 fix a flat is very flammable the older formula included propane and iso butane tire shops had to be careful as customers who filled the tire witht hat stuff would come in and the tire woudl blow up at times from the reaming tool used to put a plug in the tool would spark ont eh steel belting nto sure if the stuff uses the same formula but i am betting its still pretty flamable and since it sprays as a foam is well suited for that sorta nasty job Quote

y2kbanshee9187 Posted March 14, 2005 Report Posted March 14, 2005 Damn that really sucks man. At least you found the guys who did it. Dont know who in the right mind would do a thing like that. Good luck to ya. Quote
sheerdr Posted March 14, 2005 Author Report Posted March 14, 2005 I'll keep everybody posted on what happens. I got to come up with a list of everything that was on the shee and turn it in to the cops and hopefully the insurance company. If it doesn't get covered it looks like i'll have three and a half years of payments on a burnt chunk of metal. Quote
blk02banshee Posted March 14, 2005 Report Posted March 14, 2005 Sorry to hear about that, man. Press charges to the fullest extent, and good luck! Quote
