I've always been a fan of hyperlite wakeboards. I'm pretty short so I have a shaun murray 137. It's kind of an old board but sweet for spinning.

Normally engines get replaced on Audi's due to customer or tech error. I don't believe I have seen a 1.8t or 2.8 just get wore out. You can take a hundred thousand mile engine apart and the cylinder walls have hardly any wear. The 1.8t has a low oil pressure problem that has recently started surfacing. This is due to the oil capacity with filter only being 3.8 quarts. They have fixed this problem by adding a bigger oil filter that raises the capacity to 4.3 quarts. Also they recommend using synthetic oil to keep heat lower. If there is complete records on oil changes on the 1.8t it will be covered under warranty if you have a low oil pressure problem. So you would have to either make up receipts or if the previous owner has receipts then you have no worries.

Audi's have a tendency to break down quite often with a lot of miles. I believe this motor is the two valve which is a good thing due to not having a cam seal problem. I work at an audi dealership and the most problem we see with this engine is the egr port will plug up causing a check engine light. No performance problem just an emission light. Its a pretty easy fix though. Just requires removing the intake manifold and cleaning the port. Another problem with a4's is the tie rod ends and upper link boots tear and they become loose causing a clunking noise. Can get expensive but can be put off for quite awhile. Thats all I can think of right now. Also if its a quattro that makes it a much better deal.

I had an 03 with the same problem. It worked fine then i took it apart and painted it and it quit working. Took it to thepowder coater and it worked when they were done I also found a coil wire kind of loose before. crimped that and it was ok.

And to top all of that I got food poison last night so I've been up puking my guts out all night. I think I need to lock myself in the house for a couple days and wait for this bad luck to pass by. Thanks for the support.

I'll keep everybody posted on what happens. I got to come up with a list of everything that was on the shee and turn it in to the cops and hopefully the insurance company. If it doesn't get covered it looks like i'll have three and a half years of payments on a burnt chunk of metal.

I'm not sure. maybe the blike seat was lit on fire to. I think it was one of the girls at the houses ex and his son. They also cut the seats with a razor knife on the other two bikes. It was the first time we ever met these people. I guess they could have lit the spray coming out of the can to light the stuff on fire. I guess I sleep to hard cause my buddies woke me up right before the gas cans started blowing up and then the windows started blowing out.

I just had my worst weekend I think I've ever had. I tore my shee apart last july to do some work to it. Finally got enough money and got everything done. Sent it to get powder coated about a month and a half ago. Just finished putting it together last thursday night. Rounded up a couple buddies to go to the dunes friday night. Get to florence around 12:00 am. We go to the bar. Meet a couple peopleand go to there house. I got tired and felll a sleep in my buddies truck outside there house. I get woke up at 5 am to my buddy telleng me the truck was on fire. He drags me out and the six gas cans in the back star blowing up. according to the fire inspector someone threw three fix a flat cans in the back of the truck and lit my banshee on fire. We lost the truck and my shee. good news is the neighbor knew who it was and they are getting charged with attempted murder or attempted manslaughter and arson. I hope my buddies insurance covers my bike because I didn't have any.

well i went out drinking with the old lady and i told her i was going to the dunes next weekend. to make a long story short i have no money and the bike wasn't supposed to be done for a while. well i spent some of my good hard earned cash to get it running and she is pissed that i spent our money on my bike. whats a man to do. all of a sudden its our money. now she is bitching that i'm typing while she is trying to sleep. go figure.

I've been told about two weeks ago from a powder coater that he couldn't do mine either. so I just finished painting them tonight. They sure don't look like the rest of the bike but it'll have to do.

smi motorsports in oregon city are selling new ones for 530 but I talked to him last week and he hasn't had any for a while and cpi hasn't called him back on when he would get some. I got mine at cycle sports here in salem for 545 but I had a gold member discount. I think they are 570 regular price. Don't know of any used ones. I'll try to find out this weekend in coos bay and try to find some cheap used ones. a lot of my buddies use them so they might know.

Yeah I agree we don't need to rebuild for them. We ought to make the place into a parking lot. If we were doing the same thing they wouldn't think twice about our families or the people that aren't involved. It sucks to think that way but if we don't they are going to keep trying to attack us.

just switched the slides over and it is running so much better I didn't realize all the power I was missing out on. I guess I win the dumbass of the week award Thanks for all the help. Now I need to repack my silencers because they are caked in oil so it still smokes some but not bad.
