FIRST BANSHEE Posted March 13, 2005 Report Posted March 13, 2005 the trinity 2-1 carb has great low end, but you also gain through the middle and top. fattys and ptr mids have more bottom end then the t-5s and come on softer so you don't have as much tire spin. also advance your timing 3-5 degrees. BANSHEE_JAY Posted March 13, 2005 Report Posted March 13, 2005 I put engine ice in and have way better cooling. strange how such a cheap item can do so much 338083[/snapback] What is engine ice? Quote
Gargamel Posted March 13, 2005 Report Posted March 13, 2005 (edited) I have the Gnarly pipes and love them. I bought a 2 n 1 pipe to try for woods and it killed the top too much. The Gnarleys have the same bottom but still keep the top. Get that woods port and a 2n1 carb and some Engine ice, maybe a inline cooler or two. I ride all woods and stil have the stock radiator. And I would also recomend getting some good skid plates for the swinger and the frame. Engine ice is radiator fluid that helps run cooler. Edited March 13, 2005 by Gargamel Quote
Flip73 Posted March 13, 2005 Author Report Posted March 13, 2005 Skids, definitally. I've used PRM's in the past and I liked them a lot. They held up pretty good & I kinda beat the snot out of them. It's got the stock one now which will be pretty short lived around here. I never heard of Engine Ice either, thought the other guy was yankin my chain like telling me my headlight fluid was low or somethin. I'll check it out through, tks both for the heads up! Quote

It's like 7 or 8 dollars for a bottle and it kicks butt. Definately helps keep your engine running cooler. I always used it in my street bike down here in florida because I went to the beach alot and it was stop and go traffic so it got pretty hot and the stuff never let me down!!! Quote
