Uploading pictures from your phone....

Ive got a picture phone.... My provider is Cingular.... I have an account on the website... How do I get the pictures from my phone, on to the computer? Any help would be great.

mine you just take the picture and it gives you a choice to either send in message or save only just send it to your regular email, that is what i do.. hope this helps

Hey, THIS is what you need.If you try to buy it at the cingular place it going to cost about $20 more for the cable and then you still have to buy the cd seperatly.Someone is making a killing off that.

Yeah I have a motorola v400 and the4 cable but no software to dowload it onto the puter.

Here's the scoop -- if it is a CDMA compatible phone, you just need the drivers for it to work in Windows. Then, download this app called BitPim (just Google for it). It will basically let you view the filesystem on any generic CDMA-compatible phone. I've got the Motorola V710 (Verizon) and damned if i'm paying to be able to download pictures i take, which, btw, i don't really take any

 

There are other apps too -- you can use the MPT (Motorola Phone Tools), which I can hook you up with a copy of.. it's pretty nice, but sometimes it works with some phones, sometimes it doesn't. If you have a genuine OE Motorola data cable for it, your chances are pretty good.

 

Either way, BitPim *should* read it just fine.. its not pretty, but it works!
