I have just received my ajustable timing plate from Ricky stator today. I have the flywheel and stator removed. It really didnt come with instructions.Is there anything I need to look out for I just dont want to mess it up any info would be helpful I want it set at +4

If it doesn't quite fit right, don't freak out...just take a grinder & grind down the spots that catch. Mine didn't quite fit right, had to do a little grinding so it would fit in there, no biggie. Other than that, just make sure you get the flywheel nut torqued to specs. Set the timing mark to the split of the cases.

Led, do you know the torque specs for the flywheel? My plate from ricky stator should be here today also.

Watch out you dont bind or loose the woodruff key when re-instaling the flywheel, I just use a 3/8 impact to "torque" the flywheel nut...

thanks 1800bigk for beating me to it. I usually do as dunedemon posted though, then check with a torque wrench for assurance. ;)
