I was wondering if I buy a Noss Head what kind of dome should I put in? I don't want to run race gas and i'm about at sea level. My modd are in my signature, also will that add any stress to my motor. I mean my motor is stock (cylender, crank...) Could that cause any problems, I just want more power without changing internal part in my motor. Oh and do I need to rejet?

Your better off running a 21cc dome than a 20cc at sea level. You will be right at the compression with the 20"s where at least a 50/50 mix should be used. To play it safe run the 21's.

You are exactly right...I run a Noss Head with 21cc domes (at sea level) and on a fresh top end I'm right at 160 psi. If I were to use my 20cc domes, I'd have to run race gas or a mix.

i just ordered a 19cc and im at 500 above sea.... i will have to run race gas. i spoke to david at noss and he said if i ran the 20cc and didnt advance my timing i should be ok but at some spots like glamis i would have to run 50/50. to play it safe go with the 21cc its universal to altitudes. although according to david at noss you will feel a huige difference using a 20cc or a 19cc rather then a 21cc.. but its what ever you PLAN on doing in the future.

it doesnt stress the motor like the crank or the rods giving that you provide a higher compression. but of course you are going to putting a lil more stress on the motor but its not something that will break after a few runs... i say go for a 20cc and sacrifice some race fuel 50/50 and hang on. :bolt:

I just answered your email. 21cc domes are what I'd recommend for sea level and premium pump gas.
