jeepman380 Posted March 3, 2005 Report Posted March 3, 2005 (edited) I was wondering if I could benefit from a bigger carb for my 2 into 1 intake setup. I have a 35mm PWK right now and my shee runs really strong with my stroker and porting. Could my motor benefit from maybe say a 39mm PWK? My builder said he put one of his 39mm's on it and he said it made it run worse but I don't know if that was from poor jetting or not. Does anyone have anything bigger than a 35mm carb on their 2 into 1 intake? If so what is your jetting? Edited March 3, 2005 by jeepman380 Quote
BigRed350x Posted March 3, 2005 Report Posted March 3, 2005 I am running a two into one that I designed, and I run with a 38mm Mikuni. Runs great once you jet it right. Quote
jeepman380 Posted March 7, 2005 Author Report Posted March 7, 2005 What mods do you have done to your shee? And what is your jetting set at? Quote
rocketboy Posted March 7, 2005 Report Posted March 7, 2005 38mm airstryker would be killerbut i dontreally like single setups on modifed twins .small duals can feed some hella fuel and help out.singles do work great on mild bikes and stockers though.just not enough cfm for porting and/or strokers Quote
FIRST BANSHEE Posted March 7, 2005 Report Posted March 7, 2005 I run a 38mm off my 250r, I gained top end and it didn't really hurt the bottom. I have all bolt on mods, no porting stock stroke Quote
Mr.350 Posted March 7, 2005 Report Posted March 7, 2005 dont really wanna make any enemies on here or anything but my two cents are to get rid of the 2 into 1 and put 2 39 kiehns an there and it will be a totally different bike , just went through that ordeal with the father inlaw on his stroker.
