Has anyone ever tried resleeving to get 265cc banshee. I really want to race with the yfz 450 guys , but there to scared to let me run with them cause its an open class bike.

That's a lot of cc's to sleeve down to,I don't even think anyone makes sleeves like that.I say f*ck them other guys and race open class.

Yamaha made a RZ250 road race bike that came out with like 100hp on alcohol. It looks just like the banshee motor except it has an open clutch and you have to push start or have an external electric start. I have a friend who has one of these motors for sale that has never been started. He use to run them is his minisprint. He was unbeatable when he ran those motors.

Unless its a large track, the 450 will hand your banshee its ass with a 350 motor so why go smaller.

Good luck finding those 55.75mm pistons. That is what it would take to do this project. Of course you could get twister to build you a -11 destroker crank. That would get you where you wanna be! Assuming you stayed at 644mm pistons.

Yeah I thought it would be kinda pointless. My local track now thinks they are the Ama. No fun racing with 2 other guys. I am not ready to buy a 450 and be like everyone else. I like the pro quad staduim rules they make sense. 450cc four stroke, 350 cc single, 410cc twin

I've always wondered what would happen with a 2mm-4mm shorter stroke. I know I saw something along time ago about methanol powered ice racing (not dragging...but oval) banshees running shorter stroked engines than stock.
