AJS Posted February 28, 2005 Report Posted February 28, 2005 Here's the deal. This past summer while doing some riding foulded a plug on the left side. Normally no big deal, put new plug and go, right. But the next time out on a weed end trip, foulded 8 plugs all on the same side. So when I got back went thru carb (2 into 1 carb) reeds, ended up boring and new pistons and rings crang seals split the cases, basically the hole 9 yards. But this weekend went out and after about a half hour fould a plug agin. Same side always the left side. Check the plugs and the right side looks perfect and the left side is wet. I tried switching plug wires same thing. You can have ti running for 5 mins and tell a difference in the temp of the exhaust pipes. also a lot more smoke comes out of the left side verse the right side. Need help Thanks Quote
ledofthezep Posted February 28, 2005 Report Posted February 28, 2005 Cleaned your carbs? I'd definately start there, also I'd suggest doing a compression check. Quote

I did a compression test before rebuilding it and it checked 150 both sides, havn't checked since the rebuild. Quote
