cOoLDeviL Posted February 28, 2005 Report Posted February 28, 2005 hi all and i would like to know what would be the difrance in power compaire to each other ? right know i have the fmf-SST and im thinking to change it to dynoport 2into1 pipe . my setup right know is fmf-sst with trinity head with 21cc doom , +4 advance timing , 64.25 stock pistons non-ported engine , trinity 35mm CV single carb , boyseen power reeds with ported stock cages and GYT-R ignition . so is the dynoport work with this setup or not and if it work what would be the result in power . richybanshee Posted February 28, 2005 Report Posted February 28, 2005 (edited) From what I have seen and heard, do not even bother to change the SST's. You have a great all around pipe. if you want real power port the cylinders for more bottom end. Edited March 1, 2005 by richybanshee Quote
Fireman-hott Posted March 1, 2005 Report Posted March 1, 2005 Depends on what you do really. Tight trails/tight mx track 2-1 is the way to go, smoother hit dont have to hold on as much. wide open trails etc stick with the fmf. I have my 2-1 sitting to the side, come the county fair it will go back on and the rockets will come off. I adore my 2-1 pipe with my 2-1 carb contrary to what the dealership guys say. Quote
cOoLDeviL Posted March 1, 2005 Author Report Posted March 1, 2005 so after compairing theas 2 set of pipe with each other and reading your openion i should stick with the SST pipe . thanks all for your help Quote
randelator Posted March 1, 2005 Report Posted March 1, 2005 i use to have dynoport 2-1 pipe and trade it for tommey , big mistake ho god i miss my dynoport Quote
Ducman Posted March 1, 2005 Report Posted March 1, 2005 You will gain a litle bottom end and loose a lot of top end. Quote
