lineybiker_11 Posted February 16, 2005 Report Posted February 16, 2005 hey i found some lectron carbs my dad used when he raced snowmobiles. i think there 38's but i'm not sure but if they were 38's would they be too big to use with a single carb setup. i have some mods like bored 30 over, polished and ported, and a milled head. i also plan to get some sst's and reeds soon. do you think those 38's will work with my setup. locogato11283 Posted February 17, 2005 Report Posted February 17, 2005 most people seem to run 35's but i dont think itd be too bad to run a 38. you should have some major top end thats for sure... Quote
zilladude Posted February 17, 2005 Report Posted February 17, 2005 I just got a motofast intake with a 40mm Lectron. If the carb wont work on the shee, it will on the Zilla. Quote
05bansh Posted February 17, 2005 Report Posted February 17, 2005 I dont think it would be too big, but hey there is only one way to find out! Quote
toolman Posted February 21, 2005 Report Posted February 21, 2005 I have a single 40mm on mine. The needle size is what makes it work change the needle is like changing the main jet and pilot jet on other carbs and if it has power jet setup you can change it also.I will not buy any other carbs. Quote
