What is the smallest rear sprocket that will fit on stock sprocket hub, and where can I buy it?

38 if you gring down the nut or somethin, 39 with no modification.

what do I grind for the 38 to fit and do you know where I can get a 38?

 

all i keep seeing is 40 tooths everywhere.

if you got the older 4 bolt hub you can go down to a 36 t.thats what i run.if you got the newer 6 bolt hub you can only go down to a 38.

I heard that if you put on the 38 without grindin something down that the chain will hit and probaly break. I got my 39 from sprocket specialists and they will probaly make you a 38.

of course you may have to special order the smaller sizes from sprocket specialtys.i did.they also sell the blanks they don't have center cut out and you have to cutit out yourself.

If you are like me it is too much work.Just order a lonestar banshee hub that uses honda sprockets.Then you can run down to a 32.

Just run a 39 and make up for the rest of the gear with the front sprocket. A bigger front sprocket is better for the chain anyways.

because my case saver can only fit a 15 and I dont want to grind it, so I want 15/38 because that will equal my 16/41 that I had before.

Hey Bizkit, what curve are you running your dyna on? 1-2-3??? And are you geared for 300ft. or 660ft.

don't run that stupid little switch thing.....you get better and safer timing with it unplugged and taken off...just make sure you have your timing plate set at 4 degrees advance...... Me and Brad Tyson are going to fool around with a custom curve for it in the spring, along with a 2-step rev. limiter for ashphault.....For the ice im running a taller gearing. 17-42. works good, the tracks i run on aren't quite a 660 and im running C-12 for the winter, so it's not making quite as much power.
