BdBanshee Posted February 11, 2005 Report Posted February 11, 2005 Why would you not recommend it if you are over 200 #'s??? I am 230, I have mine lightened, and I love it. A banshee has a power stroke every 180 degrees of crankshaft rotation. Not like a single cylinder bike, or a 4 stroke. Anyone that downplays lightening a flywheel on a banshee either has never tried it, and likes to theorize about something they know nothing about, and/or have NEVER tried it. A banshee is a totally different animal when it comes to flywheel mass. 320947[/snapback] I think they never believe us that they work so good because we also do this mod for $$. At least until they try it.............. Quote

Don't know if any of you have ever gone riding in Walden, CO sand dunes but there are deep holes in the woods out there that you would never get out of if you broke down (short of trying to get a truck out there with a winch.) I ride there a lot. Have you ever gone down deadman on the back side of the big set of dunes? Up there where the river used to run through before they diverted it around the smaller dunes... There isn't even enough room to flip a bitch to turn around you have to get off and turn your shit around by hand, then you only have about 1 quad length before the hill. Only banshee's I have ever seen get out of it without help are strokers. I tried once with mine and got about 4/5 of the way up and bogged down. Ended up pulling the SOB up the hill by hand since I was alone. haha Quote

The only shees that make it out are strokers yet you were able to pull it up by hand? Quote

My banshee has always pulled real well, but there are still some holes out there that are a little intimidating but I'll try em. What kind of paddles did you have? Quote
