01bansheeke Posted February 4, 2005 Report Posted February 4, 2005 who tuned your motor? Vito's "supposedly" got 90 to the rear wheels out of there UNPORTED mono head set-up with 34mm carbs and there pipes. I believe that was with a 4mm stroker crank too. Quote
smokin350 Posted February 7, 2005 Author Report Posted February 7, 2005 yea they got 90 hp using a 7 mil stroker i think that's what my builder said which is ERIC at SPEED FREEKS RACING and sorry for the no pics i got the shee done and then loaded it on saturday for glamis i'll get some pics when were unloading so it's kinda still clean. JK and a couple other guys were up there and they saw it u, i'll get pics real soon thanks guys. Quote
01bansheeke Posted February 7, 2005 Report Posted February 7, 2005 according to vito's that was with a 4 mil crank and 34's...hmmm Quote
smokin350 Posted February 8, 2005 Author Report Posted February 8, 2005 (edited) 01bansheeke Eric at Speed Freeks Racing in Staten Island now in (Brooklyn) built the motor and he is a Vito's distributor and was taught by vito's. He consulted with him on the phone they said it was better with the 38's and there saying up to 90hp and i asked eric about that and he said that that is for people using 7 mil stokers. where are u getting your information from a rep at vito's or the web cause i would like to know too a little more where u got this from. There's other hqers that have used him idk there names but i know 1 is JTQUAD and he says he shit rips and my shit really rips from what i felt really haven't cranked it you know wot power shifting got the staight cut gears in there should feel real nice when i do that we'll see in glamis in 6 days are u one of the guys coming? I would also like to know more on how they got the 90hp to the wheels and what exectly they were using cause he wouldn't put 38s on there if there wasn't a reason for it but idk there's alot of guys on here who know there shit so if i feel somethings that are wrong i could always count on u guys but Eric's coming to Glamis so i guess thats good for me he could see whats up then but thanks for looking out i'm going to look into it more!!!!! 01bansheeke Posted February 8, 2005 Report Posted February 8, 2005 Well, i see what you are saying. The info i got was over at planet sand. Not really seeing the benefit of this this. I know people putting down those kind of number on stock style cylinders and 4 mil cranks. Top of the my head would be locogato. maybe the cheetah cub is the way to go??? who knows, either way, i it sounds like the info i got from there was wrong. Quote
JTQuad Posted February 8, 2005 Report Posted February 8, 2005 I also woudl like to know how to get 90 out of a stock cylinder. Please tell me ill def go do it and wtite up a review. Thanks - JT Quote

Thanks - JT 319703[/snapback] I'm talking about a stock style cylinder. Vito's is claiming 90 on gas out of there billet cylinder set-up. I was under the understanding that that was with a 4 mil and good carbs. People have put down over 90 on stock style cylinders. I'm not saying stock cylinders, stock STYLE. The set-up i'm liking right now is cheetahs new set-up. Half the price of the vito's head..and more power. Quote
JTQuad Posted February 9, 2005 Report Posted February 9, 2005 Ok i got ya now. Stock style thats the key. Thanks for clearing it up - JT Quote
