Bigairee Posted January 23, 2005 Report Posted January 23, 2005 (edited) Is this a good rc nitro truck? I guess it's a little late to ask since I already ordered it. Edited January 23, 2005 by Bigairee Quote
89Steeda Posted January 23, 2005 Report Posted January 23, 2005 Yes it is a good 10th scale car. Lots of bodies fit too. Quote
nater006 Posted January 23, 2005 Report Posted January 23, 2005 HPI makes some fantastic stuff. I've got one of the HPI Micros, all decked out (and for sale, too, if anyone's interested -- RTR -- PM me). You won't go wrong with their stuff. Quote
PolyKarbon Posted January 23, 2005 Report Posted January 23, 2005 You should have got the Traxxas Revo. CLICKY I think I want one! Quote
dnhyoung Posted January 23, 2005 Report Posted January 23, 2005 I've got a friend that has one of the Revo's, and that thing Hauls ass. It's amazing what you can do with those trucks. Anything you can do with a full size stadium truck, you can do to them, only alot cheaper. I think he said it was like $150 for a new motor, wish the shee was like that..LOL Quote
Brian060 Posted January 23, 2005 Report Posted January 23, 2005 yeah dude, My bro has that car and i have a traxxas t maxx. Its a great little car, but you MUST meticulasly maintain them if you dirve off road. THey break REAL easy!!! Quote
yamahanut98 Posted January 23, 2005 Report Posted January 23, 2005 i had 2 tmaxx's and then went on to boats for 2 years and now i am back w/ a staduim truck rc10gt i like the 4wd of my tmaxx in the snow but i love speed my stadium gives and it jumps about 20 times better and it doesnt break nearly as much as my tmaxx, i guess if i went monster truck again i would prolly go hpi savage i like the idea for the suspension of the revo but i think it is just too many parts to break and the chassis just seems too over crowded to work on em and you do that more than you drive em. you want the ultimate rc car go w/ an 1/8 buggy extremely fast -60-65mph and they dont break nearly as much as others and 4wd to boot and if you dont like the low ride hieght i know of several companies where you put the monster truck tires on them instead the the buggy tires i like to call them truggies Quote
trail rider Posted January 27, 2005 Report Posted January 27, 2005 I got an HPI Savage. Its pretty tough, had several hard hits and stuff with it and still nothing is wrong with it. Only problems I've had was a rope break on the pull start and the occasionall spur gear to wear out, but thats normal. Its shaft driven 4 wheel drive. And plus I can make it 2wd in just 5 minutes by taking out the drive shafts . 2wd makes it alot easier to do dounuts and wheelies. Quote
ellison445 Posted January 27, 2005 Report Posted January 27, 2005 I have a Tmaxx 2.5 that is about 2years old on the same motor it came with...Very reliable and very fast! Quote

Wallrat Posted January 27, 2005 Report Posted January 27, 2005 I've got a Traxxus Rustler 2.5. Same engine as the Tmaxx but the car is about 1/3 the weight. Its not perfect...had to move the batteries up to the front bumper cuz I couldn't stop doing wheelies. Its friggin fast tho, I think stock it does over 50 mph. I run paddle tires on it and take it with me to the dunes when I remember. Quote
