Ok ... as most of you know i just rebuild my banshee ground up.. and it revs fine when u first start it but it seems like maybe its burning up the gas too fast cause after u rev it a few times it bogs. I was running 320s in my stock carbs before rebuild and it was perfect.

Now for the jetting part... I added a Trinity 2into1 CV system with a 35mm mikuni and it came with a 230 main , I got it off ebay. Then I added carbon fiber reeds , not sure of the brand, maybe boyesen? Just wondering where I should start. Here are my mods

Pro circuit pipes

k&n clamp on

trinity cv intake

mikuni 35mm carb

polished intakes

carbon fiber reeds

.020 over

wiseco pro lites...

I think thats all that has to do with jetting... where should i start?

You might want to pm sredish. He has some good experience w/ the 2 into 1 setup...last I heard, he claimed the EEJ needle made a HUGE difference on his shee....He also was running like a 230 main and ended up lowering the main after he changed the needle...

26 stock on bashees is 220 main here. I was just out riding it, my midrange is like 90% perfect but i have NO low or top end

if you have a flat spot out of the hole your pilot is probably to small, is it bogging down on top or laying down. if your running a mikuni the main sounds to small.

Someone put a Mikuni on our CV system...?

We sell them with Keihins normally.

230 main in a mikuni!!!!! your way too lean. try a 350 and go from there. I'd think that would still be too lean, but see if it'll run clean..

Tried a 320 and rigged my air filter a little bit , and it hesitates and sputters at top end so I'm goin to try a 350 like you said banchetta, thanks. Should be good from here. .... by the way, how high to jets go in sizes?

If its still breaking up and missing w/ a 320 then the 350 will probably work, but might still be lean. Make sure you do a plug check. I've seen jets up to over 480's and still go higher. They are the same jets we run in the sleds. STock 800's are running 450's, so you have a ways to go....

I guess I've missed this post. I was going to ask if it's for sure a Mikuni, but I guess it is. Sounds like your getting close Bansheeboy, good deal.

Oh, and for the record, I'm running an EEK needle, but thats of no importance in this thread.

Later fellas.
