NECK Posted January 20, 2005 Report Posted January 20, 2005 My clutch cable sucks and I'm wondering before I put new cables on if a hyd. clutch kit would be better in the long run. Thanks in adv for feed back. Quote
jeenyus Posted January 20, 2005 Report Posted January 20, 2005 heres a review, its says: ITS A MUST HAVE MOD. i think its great http://www.atvconnection.com/atvconnection...billetanium.cfm Quote
kenr74 Posted January 20, 2005 Report Posted January 20, 2005 I have heard some good things about them but don't have one myself. I just replaced my clutch cable with a new one and couldn't believe the difference. Try that if you haven't already. Might be a cheap fix. Quote
Banshee17Racing Posted January 20, 2005 Report Posted January 20, 2005 I've had a magura hydraulic clutch for about a year and a half now. i haven't seen anything that even compares to them. To answer your question, in the long run they are definately worth it. No clutch cables to lube, adjust, or replace. One thing to be careful of is the plastic lines they come with will burn against pipes...but they also sell a stainless steel line for $50 (I think). I would recommend these to anyone. Quote
05bansh Posted January 20, 2005 Report Posted January 20, 2005 Arent the Magura like 200.00?? I thinks thats what I priced them at a while ago. Pretty pricey, I'm sure they are awesome though. Quote
05bansh Posted January 20, 2005 Report Posted January 20, 2005 yep, here they are> http://www.rockymountainatv.com/Product_De...tv?pid=00048355 Quote
bkabina Posted January 20, 2005 Report Posted January 20, 2005 You can find pretty good deals on e-bay sometimes.I've seen them go for $75. to $100. already. They are realy nice if you are running a lock-up clutch. With a lock-up we have had them strech the cable with the clutch in and it would pull you through the lights at the track making you red light. With the hydraulic clutch the lock-up can't stretch anything so you don't roll through the lights when you wack the throttle. I think they are worth the money. Quote
