05bansh Posted January 16, 2005 Report Posted January 16, 2005 What is recommended when purchasing reeds, are you guys just buying the reeds? Or the Reed cages? Or reed spacers? All of them? Thanks in advance! Quote
demonspeeding42069 Posted January 16, 2005 Report Posted January 16, 2005 what do you all have done to it? myslef i got the whole package and went with v-force reeds, spacers, cage and k&n open filters , when i slapped that on i noticed quite a difference. if you go with v- force dont foget to put the sticker and decals on it to or they wont work right the stickers help pull in air and give you 5 hp Quote
05bansh Posted January 16, 2005 Author Report Posted January 16, 2005 lol, ya cant forget about the stickers! As of now I have CPI inframe pipes, K&N clamp on filters, and a boost bottle. Quote

Dr. Overkill Posted January 17, 2005 Report Posted January 17, 2005 Do any of these reed-related mods require rejetting? _dennis Quote
richwuest Posted January 17, 2005 Report Posted January 17, 2005 Reed spacers will probably not make a difference in jetting, but changing reeds will definatly require a plug check to confirm jetting, because jetting changes are likely. Quote

Do the reeds tend to richen or lean the system? Thanks! _d Quote
