2004LEBanshee Posted January 12, 2005 Report Posted January 12, 2005 Have any of you guys tryed this thing. It is like a big plastic spark plug. It screws in where the spark plug goes and holds the piston down so the engine doesn't spin when changing a flywheel. Have any of you tryed it? Is it safe. Its much cheaper then a holder. IMO. I just saw it in RM. Maybe its been out a while I dunno. Quote
ledofthezep Posted January 12, 2005 Report Posted January 12, 2005 Smoked any crack lately? hehe j/k...never heard of such a thing myself. I just take a rachet-strap tie down & wrap it around the flywheel & around the frame just above the footpeg mount, tighten the strap to hold the flywheel...bust out the flywheel puller & whalah. J/k 306045[/snapback] you'll use the impact much more than the plastic spark plug looking thing. if you don't want to buy any thing, put rope in to the spark plug hole, it will do the same thing... good luck Quote
